On January 23-25, 2025, a three-day winter language camp was organized for first-year students of the Chair of English Phonetics and Grammar of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication. This event was organized under the leadership of the head of the chair B.Zh. Turgunbaeva and teachers Tazhibaeva Anara, Asperdieva Chynara, Tagaeva Tashkan, Uzakbaeva Batma, Usenova Nazira and Aidaralieva Aigul in order to implement the social project of the Department of Phonetics and Grammar of the English Language. During the camp, students improved their English language skills and had the opportunity to expand their experience in leadership, teamwork, public speaking and emotional intelligence. Representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations also provided information on how to act correctly in extreme situations. In addition, a psychologist provided a class, aimed at recognizing students’ emotions and increasing their creative abilities, conducted an art therapy session. This event was a valuable experience for students and made a great contribution to their personal and professional development.
