On May 28, 2025, Osh State University proudly hosted the opening ceremony of the Green Universe Festival—a prestigious gathering of poets from the Turkic world, organized by the TURKSOY International Organization. Held in honor of the 85th anniversary of renowned Kyrgyz poet Zholon Mamytov, the festival brought together distinguished poets from seven Turkic-speaking countries. The English instructors of the Chair of English Phonetics and Grammar witnessed this great event. This cultural event aims to celebrate the literary heritage of the Turkic world while promoting Osh city as a cultural brand and strengthening intercultural dialogue among participating nations. The university is honored to serve as a platform for such meaningful cultural exchange and artistic expression.
